A recent release by Onlinetradesmen.ie reveals that Irish Tradesmen are ready to revolt! Well maybe not in the traditional sense, but certainly they are looking for serious changes from the current incumbent government or the the next in line to the throne.
According to the Onlinetradesmen.ie survey the lack of banking credit is the crux of the matter - with the survey indicating 72% of tradesmen seeing it as the main impediment to growth in the sector. Also over 30% of self-employed Tradesmen say that they had credit applications declined or stalled in recent months.
According to the survey of over 900 qualified tradesmen, there's lots more at stake too with issues such as income tax rates, lack of apprentices and the home renovation incenticve scheme up for discussion.
